Has There Ever Been a Real Life Exorcism?

Many people are unsure of whether things like demonic possession, spirit attachment, or a real life exorcism could ever really happen. A large majority of people doubt it's possibility. Some have even made jokes about this web-site because they do not fully comprehend these spiritual phenomenon. If they had even an iota of a clue, they certainly would not be making jokes about it. It is very serious and can be a life-threatening matter.

If you are one of these people nothing I say is going to convince you otherwise. Everyone becomes aware of these sorts of spiritual concepts in their own time. God's plan and life's experience for you are the determining factors of when you may begin to understand the presence of these conditions in our universe. It is up to time and God to teach you. Not me.

But I will try to give the best scientific explanation I can. These types of experiences are taking place on a subtle level, in other dimensions. Science itself has concluded that this whole world is made up of only energy. Demons, spirit attachments, and black magic are actually just manifestations of energy. They happen to be negative manifestations of energy, just as there is positive energy.

Even a magnet has a positive and a negative pole. This is a great example of the energies that exist in the universe. There are positive and negative. So acknowledging the existence of these phenomenon, is really nothing more than acknowledging the world as being made entirely of energetic forces, positive and negative. This is a totally scientific viewpoint, and when applied spiritually, is a perfect explanation. If you are having a hard time believing in things like magic and exorcisms, try to think of it this way.

But please know, a real life exorcism looks nothing like how it is composed in the movies. Maybe that is why people joke over it. Because they have an impression based on these movies, that is totally incorrect. The only aspect that is actually present in a real life exorcism, compared with Hollywood's depiction of these episodes, is the aspect of violence.

Demonic possession can be incredibly violent. Not necessarily externally, but internally. It wrecks havoc on one's psyche and mind.

You will not usually see someone who needs an exorcism as having yellow eyes and claws. It is possible but not likely. This is only an outward depiction of the evil that is contained within them. Yes, it is true that those who are having a real exorcism actually have eyes that change colors. Often times those who require a real life exorcism may have overwhelming urges to kill, harm, and commit sins, as is also portrayed by the violent nature in the movies.

These people feel tortured and trapped within their lives and bodies, because they are being controlled by something outside of themselves and can't do anything to stop it.

Many people who actually require a real life exorcism go without getting treated. Mostly because there is nobody around who can identify it, since most people are denying these types of forces exist at all. But there are many, many people who can see, hear, and interact with these types of energies or spirits. Many of them are not the types of people you should seek out for help, either.

Because becoming demonically possessed is not such a common occurence, many people die, commit suicide, end up in jail, or are placed in mental hospitals and classified as deranged. If there were more people who had subtle awareness to be able to detect and diagnose these conditions, many, more people would be alive, out of jail, and out of mental hospitals. Real exorcisms across all cultures when performed are indeed very similar in concept, although the tools that are used may vary. Some common items are: A holy person or man/woman of God, to conduct the exorcism; a book of some sort, out of which prayers are usually read; symbols like a cross, that are used to repel the energies; and water/liquid/oil, that has been blessed or is blessed during a ceremony that is used to purify or annoint.

But real exorcisms are not a one time thing. A priest who comes in and says a prayer over someone, finds out the name of the demon, then supposedly casts it out, will often NOT be successful, unless and only unless that person has repented of their mistakes and sins, and takes Jesus Christ as their Savior. The person must not regress back to the behavior before the demons were cast out, and the person must try to stay right in the eyes of God. Energies that have been living off of someone, especially demonic ones, will not leave easily. Real exorcisms often have to be repeated and must be performed by someone who truly understands demonology. And it is of utmost importance, that the person performing the real exocrism be extrememly holy.

It is absolutely critical that the person performing the exorcisms be of strong spiritual power, skill, and mind, so as not to become possessed by the demons themselves.

Those who really need exorcisms are not usually around to talk about it. In most cases the darkness gets them and kills them. The fact that I have lived so long through it is a miracle in itself. And because it is so taboo, it is not something that people want to discuss if they do survive it.

Maybe it is for fear of ridicule. Maybe it is also for fear of further persecution because when the evil and demons are challenged, they do get more angry and attack stronger. It is alive. They are living beings. Spiritually it attacks, and it uses the events and people around them to make their lives completely unworkable, destroying and ruining everything good in one's life while tearing them to pieces psychically and emotionally. And it doesn't take much to piss them off.

Maybe nobody talks about their real life exorcism experiences because there has not been someone who has suffered with these issues who is spiritually aware enough to discuss the issue from a subjective standpoint. Until now.
